AIEEE 2012: Application to be online only


Application for AIEEE will be accepted only online this time through the CBSE/AIEEE Websites. Offline mode of submitting the applications is being dispensed with. It is proposed to accept the examination fee through CREDIT/DEBIT Cards or Demand Drafts.

To facilitate the students for filling online application, a facilitation centre will be opened in each and every city from where physical forms were being sold in past.

This has been announced by CBSE in Press Note of CBSE.

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), 2012 will be held online in 22 cities across the country between 7th May 2012 and 25th May 2012 as per the note.

The cities where AIEEE will be held online are the following.

The CBSE has also informed that those applying for the online examination will be given a concession of Rs.150/- to Rs.300/- in examination fees.

Mock test software will be uploaded on CBSE Website in December 2011 for the purpose of practice by the examinees who wish to appear for the online examination in these cities and to get acquainted about the online examination.

The AIEEE, Offline Examination (Paper/Pen Test) will be held on 29th April, 2012 in the following 65 cities.

Fourth allotment today


 The fourth allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, 2011 will be announced on Sunday, 18th September, 2011.The fourth allotment will be based on the options registered till 5 pm on 16.09.2011. This round will have allotments to all the colleges/course included in the earlier rounds and also to the Government seats for MBBS Course at Private self financing Medical Colleges, the BDS course at Government Controlled and Private Self financing Dental Colleges, the Aided and Self financing Ayurveda Colleges, Newly started Engineering and Architecture colleges and the newly sanctioned engineering branches and architecture course in existing colleges.
This will be the fourth allotment to MBBS/BDS Courses in Government Medical and Dental Colleges, the second to MBBS in Govt Controlled Self financing Medical Colleges, the first to Private Self financing Medical Colleges, the first to Govt Controlled and Private Self financing Dental Colleges, the first to all Ayurveda Colleges, and the third to Homoeo, Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry, Fisheries Course. This is also the third allotment to all Engineering Colleges.
The allotments to the 75 Private self financing Engineering Colleges included in round 2 will come to an end with this allotment. The allotment to minority/community quota in Private Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges will also be undertaken in this allotment.

Those who receive allotment/re-allotment in this phase will have to remit the fee/additional fee/deposit at any one of the designated branches of SBT (as per the list available at www.cee-kerala.org) on 19.09.2011,  20.09.2011 or 22.09.2011. Those who have remit fees have to join the allotted college on 19.09.2011, 20.09.2011 or 22.09.2011. Classes for all courses will commence on 22.09.2011. 
College authorities have been instructed to submit the non-joining report by 5 pm on 22.09.2011. The allotment to the 75 Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges included in the Second phase will come to an end with the 4th Phase of allotment. Candidates allotted to these 75 Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges as per the 4th allotment should compulsorily take admissions to these Colleges. If they do not take admission, they are liable to be penalised as per clause 12.2.4(c) of Prospectus 2011. The higher options of candidates who are allotted to these 75 Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the 4th phase of allotment will be cancelled. However, this is not applicable to the new colleges included in the 3rd and 4th phases of allotment.
Those candidates who receive allotment to Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges based on their options will be liable to join these institutions. There will not be any provision to cancel allotment/admission received in these institutions.
The CEE has already clarified that those candidates who file unnecessary options to these institutions and thereby lapse Government seats to MBBS/BDS courses will be liable to pay liquidated damages. Their candidature in the Entrance Examination will be cancelled and steps will be taken to cancel their allotment/admission, if any, obtained in any other Medical/Dental Colleges for 2011. Such candidates will also be debarred from taking the Entrance Examination for the next two years. The last date for cancellation of  admission/allotment of MBBS/BDS courses in Government Medical/Dental Colleges is 19th September 2011 .
Immediately after the fourth phase of allotment there will the fifth phase of allotment which will be exclusively for  MBBS/BDS courses. This will also be the last allotment to the Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges. The fifth allotment will be announced on 23.09.2011. Candidates who receive new allotment/college change based on the fifth allotment have to join the allotted colleges on 24th or 25th of September, 2011, after remitting the fee/balance fee in one of the designated branches of SBT. The college offices of all Government and Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges will remain open on 25.09.2011 (Sunday) in order to facilitate admission of allotted candidates. Government Medical/Dental Colleges have been instructed to furnish non-joining report by 5 pm on 26.09.2011.
