CUSAT SECOND ALLOTMENT TODAY


The second allotment to the BTech and MSc Photonics (Five Year) courses of Cochin University of Science and Technology will be published on 27th June by 5 pm. Those who get allotment will have to join the colleges by 1st or 2nd of July. In the first allotment only 37.5 pc students have joined the college and the rest of the seats are vacant. In the second allotment also many number of seats may lay vacant since the second day of joing the NITs based on AIEEE is is 2nd July. The third allotment of Cusat may fill almost all the seats. However, even after Kerala Engineering allotment some students who have already joined may vacate and so additional seats may be available.
The lateral entry counseling and admission of those who got allotment will be held on 4th July. Second online allotment of Lateral students and third allotment of BTech and MSc Photonics will be held on 5th July.
Unlike Kerala Medical, Engineering Entrance and AIEEE, there will not be any chance for re-arranging the online options in Cusat.

AIEEE Counselling 2011 commence from June 11

HBSE 12th Result 2011 Declared; Open School Results Also Available

SBI Recruitment 2011 For PO Posts; 1000 Vacancies


SBI invites applications for PO Recruitment 2011. SBI online forms are available from 18th May to 9th June 2011. Date of written examination is 24th July 2011. There are total 1000 vacancies.
Qualification required is Graduation. Age limit is 21-30 years as on 1st May 2011.
Fee can be paid from 18 May – 7th June 2011 through SBI Payment Voucher.
Application fee is Rs. 500 for General and others (For SC / ST / PWD Rs. 50).
Candidates are required to get scanned image of their passport size photo and signature to fill SBI online form.
After submission of online application candidates are required to send their SBI application’s printout to the bank.
Receipt of fee submission should be given at the time of test to the invigilators.

KEAM ENGG : Submission of Marks from today


For the preparation of Engineering Rank list 2011, equal weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together) and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology put together in the Second year of the qualifying examination (Plus Two or equivalent), after effecting the normalization procedure.
Those candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination should submit the marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in the Second year Plus Two or equivalent qualifying examination through the websitewww.cee.kerala.gov.in The website will be opened from 06.06.2011 to 15.06.2011 for online submission of marks. Candidates will have to enter their Application number, Roll number, Key number and set a password in order to access the home page.
The details of Second year marks available with the office of CEE will be populated on entry of candidates' Examination Board, Year of passing and Register number on the web page. The marks displayed will be that of the boards who have provided marks data to CEE's office. In such cases there is no need to make marks entry. These marks displayed on the home page need only be verified with the original mark sheets and confirmed by the candidate. In cases of Boards, from where the marks data is not available with CEE's office, the marks obtained by the candidate for the Second year need be entered.
Register number and Year of Passing the Exam also will have to be verified in accordance with the Plus Two mark sheet. After verification/submission of marks, confirmation has to be done by the candidate and the print out of the marks submission data shall be taken. The candidate shall forward this print out duly signed along with the attested copy of Plus Two mark sheets to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on or before 5 pm on 17.06.2011. Applicants who do not submit the marks online and forward the print out of the marks submission data along with the self-attested copies of the mark list of the qualifying examination will not be considered for the preparation of Engineering rank list 2011.
Facilitation Centres and Help Desks will be functioning in order to give assistance to candidates for online marks entry. The list will be available on the website www.cee-kerala.org

ICET-2011 results released today in www.icet2011.net


Results of ICET – 2011 the Integrated Common Entrance Test for MBA and MCA announced by AU Vice-Chancellor on Thursday morning. The test was conducted in 25 cities on May 18. The final key will be available on www.icet2011.net from today June 2.

MTech Kerala Details


Post Graduate Degree Courses in Engineering are being offered in four Engineering Colleges, to the graduates in Engineering, for awarding masters Degree in the appropriate branches by the concerned Universities. The course shall extent over a period of 24 months consisting of 4 semesters. Kerala M.Tech admission 2011


pplications have been invited by Department of Technical Education, Kerala for admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Engineering offered to the graduates in Engineering, in following four Engineering Colleges for awarding Masters Degree in the appropriate branches by the concerned Universities.
1. College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (University of Kerala)
2. TKM College of Engineering, Kollam(University of Kerala)
3. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam (M.G.University)
4. Government Engineering College, Thrissur (University of Calicut)
Eligibility for admission:a) The candidates shall be an Indian National
b) The candidates should have studied the Graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE/Deemed Universities.
c) Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient.
d) Candidates, who have passed AMIE/AMIETE Examinations and satisfying the following conditions, are eligible for admission to institutions under University of Kerala.
1) They must have valid GATE score.
2) A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination.
3) Minimum three years of Professional experience in the field of Specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree.
e) Candidates who have appeared for the final semester examination can also apply, provided he/she has passed all the subjects upto and including the 7th semester exam. Such candidates shall submit self-attested copies of all mark lists up to 7th semester along with the application.
f) Admission shall normally be restricted to those with valid GATE score.
However, this stipulation is relaxed in the case of Sponsored candidates.
g) In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates from Kerala State without valid GATE score will be considered against such vacancies.
Submission of Applications:
Applications should be filled online logging on to the website www.cet.ac.in.
The different entries in the application are to be filled with extreme care, as this information is used for preparing the rank list. After submitting the application online, a printout of the filled up application should be taken and sent along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 250/- (Rs. 50/- in case of SC / ST candidates), drawn in favour of the Principal, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram payable at Trivandrum from any nationalized bank with copies of the following documents, to the Principal, College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.
a) Engineering Degree certificate and Mark lists.
b) GATE Score card (for Candidates with valid GATE Score)
c) Community and Income certificate issued by the village officer for candidates who claim eligibility under SEBC quota
d) Community certificate issued by the Tahsildar for candidates who claim eligibility for reservation under SC/ST quota.
e) Nativity certificate from the village officer in the case of Keralite Students seeking admission under non-GATE Category.
f) True copy of professional experience certificate from the Head of the organizations where the candidate is working in case of those who passed AMIE/AMIETE.
Selection of Candidates:
a) The selection of Candidates will be supervised by the selection committee consisting of Director of Technical Education (Chairman), Senior Joint Director (ECS) and Principals of College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam & Government Engineering College, Thrissur. The Principal College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram will be the co-ordinate and the Venue for admission work is College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.
b) Selection of candidates will be based on the GATE score. In case of tie, advantage will be given to the candidates who secure highest aggregate marks up to 7th semester in their qualifying examination..
c) If sufficient GATE qualified candidates are not available, the selection will be made from Keralite candidates based on the aggregate marks up to 7th semester in their qualifying examination. Candidates who have produced Nativity Certificate, at the time of application will only be considered for this.
d) Allotment list will be prepared and published in the institutions, as well as in the websites, www.dtekerala.gov.in and www.cet.ac.in .
e) Allotment letter can be downloaded from the website www.cet.ac.in.
Selected candidates have to join the respective colleges on or before the last date. Otherwise, the admission will be cancelled.
f) When filling the seats, firstly the additional seats reserved exclusively for SC/ST candidates will be filled from the rank list. Subsequently allotment will be done for the general seats and then for the other reserved categories.
g) Sponsored candidates, if any, will be admitted as per relevant Government orders.
h) Transfer Certificate issued from the institutions last attended must be produced at the time of admission.
i) The selection of Candidates will be provisional and subject to verification of original documents by the principals concerned at the time of admission.
j) The candidates who obtain admission and discontinue studies after the closing of admission in the same year or in subsequent years are liable to pay the tuition fee and special fee for the remaining period of the course as liquidated damages.
